A range of essential jointing and ancillaries are available from CORE to support installers on a daily basis.

Abrasive Pads

Textured non-splintering abrasive mini pads are of general grade. This waterproof, washable, metal-free, long-lasting product is an alternative to traditional steel wool. Versatile for various surface treatment, cleaning and polishing applications.

Abrasive Strips

Silicone abrasive cleaning strips are tough, waterproof & long-lasting. A high-performance alternative to steel wool, emery and sandpaper. A waterproof, washable, non-clogging, open mesh abrasive that can be used on both sides in wet and dry conditions.

Foil Tape

Self-adhesive aluminium foil tape in 50mm or 100mm width options. Suitable for pipe lagging, duct sealing, heating and ventilation.

Rags

Bag of heavy duty general-purpose industrial rags, mix of colours. Suitable for a wide range of applications, these cotton rags offer excellent absorbency and provide durable long-lasting use.

Gas

Map gas refill bottle suitable for most soft soldering applications. Industrial-grade gas, which fits most common plumbing torches and conforms to European Standard EN12205.

PTFE

WRAS-approved PTFE tape is available in white, conforming to BS7786-1995, and yellow high-density tape for gas conforming to EN 751-3 BS6920.

Hemp

Hemp is made from high-quality hemp fibres, specifically designed for sealing pipe threads and used as a filler in conjunction with a thread paste to produce a tight seal and provide an effective barrier against leaks, ensuring optimal sealing performance for leak-free connections.

Solder Wire

Coil reel of lead-free solder wire, suitable for most plumbing applications requiring perfect joints, quickly and cleanly.

Weld Electrodes

Mild steel welding electrodes in 5kg boxes with a rutile potassium-based flux coating conforming to E6013 specification.

Sealing Cord

The pipe sealing cord is 160m long and is suitable for sealing metal and plastic threaded pipes and fittings for applications up to 149°C. Instant seals require no cure time, resulting in an immediate, full-pressure seal, making it an ideal choice for a quick, easy and reliable seal.
