Gaskets

The most commonly used gaskets in piping systems are standard flange gaskets in rubber or fibre, or spiral wound. For particularly large pipes, gaskets can be manufactured in segments of rubber and joined together.

Flange Packs

The CORE FLANGE-KIT contains all the components necessary for flange sealing. Each kit incorporates a WRAS-approved BS7531 Grade X Gasket and a complete set of bolts, nuts, and washers customised to suit the required flange rating.

PM-OR Spiral Wound

Spiral wound gaskets are manufactured by winding preformed metal strips and a soft filler material into a spiral seal with excellent mechanical resistance and recovery. They are available with or without retaining rings and are made of a wide range of materials to ensure compatibility with the sealing media and operating conditions.

Full Face EPDM

EPDM (WRAS) is a high-quality elastomer with excellent physical properties that meet the requirements of BS 6920- 1:2000 and BS EN 681-1 (cold potable water supply 23°C).

IBC BS7531 Grade X

PG -X is a high-performance grade compressed fibre sheet material based on aramid and inorganic fibres with a nitrile binding system.

IBC EPDM

EPDM (WRAS) is a high-quality elastomer with excellent physical properties that meet the requirements of BS 6920- 1:2000 and BS EN 681-1 (cold potable water supply 23°C).

IBC PG-T

PG-T is a high-quality graphite laminate material in which exfoliated graphite is mechanically bonded to a 316 stainless steel tanged insert.

IBC Non-Asbestos

The gaskets resist oils, cooling, and brake fluids for water and steam piping systems. Due to its material content, the gasket is highly flexible and adapts perfectly to irregularities in the flanges used with it.
